Bigo Live pledges $10,000 to hope for Haiti to raise awareness for the recent earthquake devastation and provide school supplies for children in need.
Natural disasters are unavoidable and bring destruction that often upends the lives of thousands. When the news broke about Haiti’s recent earthquake and the devastation it caused, we quickly sought to provide relief however we can. Thankfully, we connected with Hope For Haiti, a nonprofit organization with the mission to improve the quality of life for the Haitian people, particularly children.
With this donation and partnership, Bigo Live aims to amplify the voices of those affected by the recent earthquake and provide insight and recommendations on how communities can do their part to help provide food, water and necessities to the region. Seeing the devastation caused by the recent natural disasters in Haiti, we knew Hope for Haiti would be the best partner to help rebuild and provide support to those most affected.
In its effort to help the people of Haiti, Bigo Live has pledged $10,000 to Hope For Haiti, which will be used to set up mobile clinics in the communities where there’s the most need, as determined by the Ministry of Health, as well as provide school supplies and clothing to children affected by the disaster. The organization will also allocate the funds to continue delivering dry food and warm meals to families in the hardest-hit areas in Southern Haiti.
