Bigo Live Reports Massive Growth and Momentum Heading into 2022

Here at BIGO Live, we believe it is our duty to maximize our full potential all the while making a difference within our communities worldwide. The year 2020 was a testament to not just BIGO Live’s success but the power of what our community accomplished during a tumultuous time.

BIGO LIVE

Within the last year, we saw a 25 percent global increase in downloads along with the most popular stream of the year bringing together more than 300,000 users in a single Live House.

We understand that 2020 was a challenging year, presenting many with lots of unknowns and uncertainties.  We are grateful that BIGO Live was able to provide a creative outlet for users around the world to utilize during these unprecedented times.

“The pandemic kept so many people isolated and away from their loved ones last year, which made our work at BIGO Live even more important,” said Lynette Yang, General Manager of BIGO Live Americas.  “I’m very proud of our team’s unwavering efforts to create a safe space for people from all walks of life, allowing them to express themselves freely and forge meaningful relationships with people from across the globe.”

Thanks to your support, we were able to grow the headcount of our team Los Angeles by more than 300 percent during the height of the pandemic. We also continued to prioritize social good this year and are so proud to have raised $100,000 in donations through the Global BIGOer One World Together Campaign for the World Health Organization’s Solidarity Response Fund, which aided pandemic relief across the globe. On top of that, we were able to donate $10,000 to the Trevor Project and Living Beyond Breast Cancer foundations. We intend to continue serving our community and we have pledged another $100,000 in charitable donations for 2021 alone.
